​The buildings and spaces below are included in your rental, with the option to exclude the Mary F. Rounsavall Pavilion for a more intimate celebration. For weddings of more than 100 people, it is recommended to include the Mary F. Rounsavall Pavilion.

Mary F. Rounsavall
Pavilion

Size: 100′ x 60′
Capacity with tables: 250 Guests
Capacity with cathedral seating: 300 Guests

With event seating for more than 300 guests, the Mary F. Rounsavall Pavilion features roll-down, fabric sides, integrated lighting and fans, plus stunning gardens and views all around. It is the perfect place to host a reception.

Yew Dell
Castle

Size: 19′ x 31′
Capacity with tables: 30 Guests
Capacity with cathedral seating: 40 Guests

Originally built as the Klein family’s pool house in the 1950s, the fieldstone construction carries the same theme as the house and numerous stone walls around the property.

The castle is unavailable for 2024 rentals during Castle Gardens construction.

Gheens
Barn

Size: 30′ x 50′
Capacity with tables: 75 Guests
Capacity with cathedral seating: 120 Guests

The Barn originally served two purposes: the upper level was used for hay storage and the lower level had stalls for livestock. The barn was strategically built into the hillside so that both levels could be accessed from the ground level. ​The barn can be used for a ceremony, reception dinner, or part of cocktail hour. It is heated and air-conditioned.

Peyton Samuel Head
Trust Pavilion

Size: 20′ x 50′
Capacity with tables: 50 Guests

 This pavilion is combined with the Gheens Barn and the Stone Terrace for fantastic indoor/outdoor access for your private event. It houses restrooms and an overlook event deck with patio furniture; it is most often used for cocktail hour. The patio furniture can be rearranged to accommodate your needs.

Terrace

Size: 50′ x 50′
Capacity with tables: 50 Guests

The Stone Terrace is located just below the Peyton Samuel Head Trust Pavilion. With its festoon market lights and beautiful views of our pollinator meadow and overlook garden, it may be used for cocktails or dancing the night away.

Event
Lawn

Size: 80′ x 100′
Capacity with cathedral seating: 300 Guests

The Holly Allée, an iconic row of holly trees, guides you and your guests to this serene area which provides a memorable garden setting for a beautiful wedding ceremony.

Tents may not be used in the Event Lawn.

Rock House
Terrace

Size: 40′ x 80′
Capacity with tables: 200 Guests
Capacity with cathedral seating: 300 Guests

​This large space next to the Event Lawn that can be used in many different ways: a welcome area for your guests, a cocktail hour set up, or a covered ceremony space.

This is the only space on the property where a tent may be utilized.

Walled
Garden

Size: 80′ x 100′
Capacity with cathedral seating: 40 Guests

The Walled Garden is an intimate space that is ideal for small ceremonies. It is also a beautiful place for first-look photos and family portraits.


Tents may not be used in the Walled Garden.

Log
Cabin

Size: 24′ x 16′
Capacity: 15 guests

This rustic 1840s cabin serves as an additional dressing area. It has a restroom and is heated and air-conditioned.

Garden
Cottage

The Garden Cottage overlooks the pollinator meadow and woodlands beyond, it provides a dressing area in close proximity to most of Yew Dell’s event facilities. The main floor includes a full kitchen and bathroom, common living room, and two additional rooms.

Saturdays are reserved for weddings with receptions.

Ceremony-only rentals can be hosted on any day subject to availability.

Facility Rental Fees

2025 Rental of Grounds with Rounsavall Pavilion: $8,300*
2025 Rental of Grounds without Rounsavall Pavilion: $6,000*

Damage Deposit: $1,000
Events with more than 350 Guests: Additional Fees Apply

*plus 6% sales tax

The damage deposit is refundable in part or in full after the wedding if no damage occurs during the event. Repair costs for any damage will be deducted from the damage deposit at Yew Dell’s discretion.

Tours are made by appointment only. To schedule a tour, please contact us using the form above. We schedule tours Tuesday- Friday from 10 am- 4 pm. 

The rental is from 4 pm – 12 am. We are open to the public until 4 pm, after that the entire grounds are privately enjoyed for you and your guests.

If you would like to arrive before 4 pm you may purchase additional hours, subject to availability.

Rental companies have access to the property starting at 8:30 am.
