We welcome photographers to capture the natural beauty of Yew Dell Botanical Gardens.

To maintain the integrity and beauty of our grounds at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, we have set forth the following policies listed below. These policies apply to any photographer on any level bringing in any photography equipment such as tripods, reflectors, lighting, props or staging materials, or any photographer who financially profits from their photo admission of the gardens. If any photography admission includes any changes in wardrobe, even for private use, you will be required to pay the regular photography admission fee.

• Photography admission must be paid for upon arrival. Please call or use the form below to request  a day and time for a proposal, bridal or large scale photography admission. 
• We cannot guarantee use of any areas of the gardens on a particular day.
• Photography admission apply to each entrance and apply to all of the grounds including the parking lot.
• All photography admissions must be completed during regular open hours and by 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Additional hours may be arranged in advance for an additional fee.  Under no circumstances will sessions be extended beyond our regular open hours without prior arrangement.
• Staging shots or standing in our garden beds is strictly prohibited.  Subjects may not be posed in trees, on sculptures or buildings.
• Any paved or mulched path surface or grassy area may be used for photos, however please do not block access or restrict movement in the gardens for others.
• The cutting or removal of any leaves, stems, fruit, branches or flowers is strictly prohibited. 
• Appropriate attire is required at all times. Clothing, backdrops or other props are not to be hung on the plants or garden structures. Changing of attire must take place in the restrooms. 
• Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
• Drones are not permitted on the grounds.
• Vehicles are not permitted on the grounds.
• No pets are allowed on the grounds. We allow service animals as defined by the ADA to accompany visitors at any time. Dogs are allowed on the grounds during designated days and times.
