How do I become a member?
You can become a member by visiting the Membership Page of our website, in person in our Garden Gift Shop, or by calling 502-241-4788
How long does my membership last?
We have two types of memberships:
- A Recurring Membership automatically renews each year. It is only available through our website. Your credit card is charged annually on the anniversary of your purchase. You will receive a reminder email of the upcoming charge.
- A Non-recurring Membership is a one-year membership that expires one year from the date of purchase. You will receive a renewal reminder letter the month prior to your anniversary date.
What are Yew Dell’s hours?
During our regular season, our hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10 am – 4 pm and Sunday 12 pm – 4 pm.
During our winter season, our hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm

Where can I find a list of reciprocal gardens?
Yew Dell is a member of the American Horticultural Society. A list of the reciprocal gardens and their discounts can be found by clicking here.
If I am a member of another botanical garden, can I get into Yew Dell for free?
Yew Dell is a member of the American Horticultural Society and participates in its reciprocal program. If your membership is with a participating garden that is greater than 90 miles away from Yew Dell, you can get into Yew Dell free during our regular business hours if you present your member card.

I am already a member, why am I being asked to create a new account?
We launched a new website and account system in January of 2022. This system is solely for payment management and does not necessarily reflect the status of your membership.
If you have not logged in to purchase or renew a membership, buy tickets to classes or events, or to donate since this system’s launch, you will be prompted to create a new account. (This does not affect your account in our Online Plant Market or your membership status.)
Can I bring dogs on the grounds?
We allow leashed, well-behaved dogs on Sundays during our open season for Hounds on the Grounds. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, dogs must be held on a leash at all times and cleaned up after. Hounds on the Grounds blackout dates can be found on our Hours, Admission, & Directions page. We allow service animals as defined by the ADA to accompany visitors at any time.
Can I buy Bourbon & Botanical tickets for my family?
You may buy member Bourbon & Botanical tickets for your family if you have a Family or higher-level membership. If you have an Individual Membership, you can only buy one ticket.
Can I bring a friend with me to the gardens for free?
You may use one of your guest passes to cover your friend’s admission OR if you have a Family Plus membership, you can bring up to two guests with you each visit for free.
Do veterans get in for free?
All veterans, active, and retired military with ID receive free admission to Yew Dell. Visit our Hours, Admission & Directions page for more information.
Do seniors get a discount?
Seniors (65 and older) receive a discounted admission rate of $8. Visit our Hours, Admission & Directions page for more information.
