Garden Assistant
Yew Dell Botanical Gardens is seeking a full-time Garden Assistant to help care for our nationally recognized display gardens and plant collections. Under the direction of the Garden and Arboretum Manager, this hands-on role includes planting and maintaining seasonal displays, leading volunteer workdays, providing tours and workshops, assisting with plant records, and engaging with visitors. We’re looking for someone with at least two years of horticulture or garden experience, a passion for plants, the ability to operate garden equipment, and a willingness to work seasonal and non-standard hours. The position offers a salary of $16–$17 per hour.

Guest Services and Rental Manager
This full-time position will oversee facility rentals and guest services. This role is responsible for managing the rental and event staff team, coordinating with departments across the gardens, and ensuring every event and guest experience is seamless. The manager will handle rental contracts, scheduling, décor coordination, and collaborate closely with the Chef, Food Service Manager, and Event & Program Manager to deliver exceptional events and programs. This position requires flexibility for weekend and evening work, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, garden-centered environment. The salary range for this position is $55,500–$56,500 per year.

Rental Event Coordinator
In this role, you will serve as the primary contact for guests renting our facilities, coordinating weddings and special events from booking to completion. You’ll work closely with the Guest Services and Rental Manager to ensure every event runs smoothly, managing set-up, breakdown, and guest services while maintaining Yew Dell’s high standards. This part-time seasonal position offers the chance to work in a beautiful, garden-filled environment and requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings. Pay for this role is $21–$22 per hour.
