Vistor Center Manager

The Visitor Center Manager oversees the daily operations of Yew Dell Botanical Gardens’ Visitor Center while leading and supporting the Visitor Center team. Working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, this position manages retail purchasing and merchandising, inventory, staff scheduling and the point-of-sale system while also serving as a welcoming presence for guests. The Visitor Center Manager plays an important role in creating an exceptional visitor experience by welcoming and admitting guests, assisting with purchases, answering questions and helping visitors connect with all that Yew Dell has to offer. This is a full-time, exempt position that pays $56,000–$58,500 annually.

Garden and Arboretum Manager

The Garden & Arboretum Manager oversees the care and management of Yew Dell Botanical Gardens’ gardens, arboretum and plant collections while leading and supporting the garden staff. Working closely with the Director of Horticulture and Facilities, this position develops and implements work plans to maintain the highest standards of horticulture, supervises and mentors the horticulture team and supports Yew Dell’s mission through participation in programs and special events. This is a full-time, exempt position that pays $55,000–$60,000 annually.

Event Staff

Event Staff support the successful execution of weddings, private rentals, programs and special events at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens. Working under the direction of the Guest Services and Rental Manager, this position supports the coordination and execution of weddings, private rentals, programs and special events across the property. Responsibilities include assisting with event setup and implementation, supporting wedding parties and rental clients and helping ensure an outstanding guest experience throughout each event. This team-oriented role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hospitality, customer service and working in a fast-paced event environment. This is a part-time, seasonal, non-exempt position that pays $16.50–$17.50/hour.
