The Garden Assistant helps maintain Yew Dell Botanical Gardens’ diverse array of nationally recognized display gardens and plant collections. Working under the direction of the Garden and Arboretum Manager, this position works closely with the Horticulture and Facilities team while collaborating with staff across the organization. The Garden Assistant also works alongside volunteers and engages with visitors, helping support Yew Dell’s mission to spark a passion for plants and gardening through accessible science and inspiring beauty. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that pays $16-$17 hourly.
