Mythbusting – Mindfulness in the Garden – In-Person

June 23, 2024

Myths about mindfulness and meditation persist: “The goal of meditation is to stop your thoughts.” “You must sit in an uncomfortable position to practice mindfulness.” “It takes a lot of time. . .” This workshop is an opportunity to shift from myths about mindfulness to a restorative shift in wellbeing as we explore meditation practices with curiosity and kindness. Karen Newton, Wellbeing & Resilience Integrator, and Yoga/Meditation Teacher, Emily Smith, will guide a variety of meditation forms, including walking, sitting, eating, and listening, with Yew Dell’s soothing grounds and gardens as the backdrop.

Our instructors are in high demand. Reserve your ticket now to hold your spot.

Please keep in mind that all ticket purchases are final sale. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. All programs and events are rain or shine.
