Self-Guided Tours

Look for these signs on the grounds to take a self-guided tour.

General QR Tour

For a good overview tour of Yew Dell, follow the orange “Did ‘YEW’ Know?” QR Code signs. These QR codes can be read by most smart phones and each sign will provide information ranging from Klein family history to how Yew Dell Botanical Gardens started and a little background on the unique gardens and architecture seen on the grounds.

Plan to spend at least 45 minutes to complete this tour.

Tree QR Tour

If you have a special interest in trees, we encourage you to experience our self-guided Tree Tour. Located in Yew Dell’s 8-acre arboretum, the tour consists of QR code links to short videos about 14 of our favorite trees. Yew Dell staff and local tree celebrities will share a bit about each tree’s traits along with some Yew Dell history as well.

Plan to spend at least 45 minutes to complete this tour.
