Sayde Heckman, Garden and Arboretum Manager, shares details about how 20,000 bulbs became this year’s Big Bloom. From planning the color schemes, ordering bulbs, scheduling Staff and Volunteers to get the bulbs in the ground, mulching, and watering, it is more than six months of calculations to get these beauties to blossom. Sayde will lead a walking discussion and behind-the-scenes tour to show off this season’s gorgeous displays, providing plenty of tips and tricks for your own home displays.
