DESCRIPTION:Take a walk on the wild side with Nursery & Greenhouse Manager\, Jeff Margreiter\, as he leads you on a tour of the native plants of the arboretum\, gardens\, and natural areas\, and many plants in the collections you may not even realize are natives. The walk will finish with a deep dive into the botanical history of our woodlands\, a look at invasive plant issues\, but also a positive outlook on how many native trees are established and turning the area back into a typical Kentucky hardwood forest. \nTicket includes a native plant grown in our nursery. \nOur instructors are in high demand.
