Ayrica Bishop\, Murphy’s Camera Education Coordinator\, will guide participants on taking photographs of Yew Dell’s gorgeous spring blooms. We’ll start with an overview of camera basics such as framing and lighting\, then take a walking tour of the gardens with docents spotlighting Yew Dell’s history and highlighting some favorite garden spots. You’ll see the gardens in a whole new way while capturing amazing images! \nOur instructors are in high demand. This time\, we’ll screen Werewolf of London (1935) about a botanist who collects a Tibetan flower that only blooms in moonlight; it also happens to be temporary antidote for werewolfism. Afterward\, we’ll sort out the “would plants really do that” questions while learning about plants that bloom at night\, the significance of May’s Flower Moon cycle\, and our favorite carnivorous plants. \nGates open at 5p gates\, and movie starts at 7p.
