Yew Dell Botanical Gardens

Just in time for the monarchs’ Southern migration, join us for a talk on monarch butterflies and their pollinating gifts to your gardens.

Andrea Matz, District Program Coordinator at Oldham County Conservation District, leads a virtual talk on monarch butterflies and their pollinating gifts to your garden. Learn about the monarchs’ lifecycle, migration routes, how to find and identify milkweed in your environment, and how to collect and nurture butterfly eggs.

Ticket price includes a monarch kit with a monarch egg, a habitat container, a mature common milkweed plant, and full instructions. We will provide a link for the Zoom virtual session as the date gets closer. Due to the live monarch egg provided in your kit, you MUST pick up your monarch kit from Yew Dell on either Friday, August 7, or Saturday, August 8.
